Shabudana/Sago Payasam

Shabudana  : 1 small cup
sugar          : 1/2 cup
milk            : 3 cup
saffaron      : pinch
dry fruits    :  2 table spoon(cashews, raisins and almonds)

  • Wash the sago pearls and drain water. Keep aside15 mins
  • Take milk in a heavy bottom pan, add sugar, saffaron and bring to a boil.  
  • Add in the sago. continue to boil till all the pearls becomes transparent(it takes about 10 mins)
  • Finally mix the dry fruits roasted in ghee.

Preparation time: 20 mins
Serves: 2 bowl
