Ingredients:
Moong daal :2 small cups
ginger :1 inch piece
green chilli : 2 medium spicy
cumin seeds : 1 1/2 tbspn
salt : 2 tbspn or to taste
oil for frying
Method:
- Wash and soak the moong dal in excess water for atleast 4 hour
- after 4 hours grind it with ginger and green chilli with as little water as possible, grind it into a fine paste
- Add very little water to the batter
- Take out in another container, add cumin seeds and salt as per the taste
- Smear some batter on a dosa pan and spread it evenly
- close a lid and cook on medium to high flame for 3-4 mins on each side, drizzle oil and flip on the other side
- serve with ginger chutney
