Moong daal dosa

Moong daal  :2 small cups
ginger           :1 inch piece
green chilli   : 2 medium spicy        
cumin seeds : 1 1/2 tbspn
salt               : 2 tbspn or to taste
oil for frying

  • Wash and soak the moong dal in excess water for atleast 4 hour
  • after 4 hours grind it with ginger and green chilli with as little water as possible, grind it into a fine paste
  • Add very little water to the batter

  • Take out in another container, add cumin seeds and salt as per the taste
  • Smear some batter on a dosa pan and spread it evenly 

  • close a lid and cook on medium to high flame for 3-4 mins on each side, drizzle oil and flip on the other side 
  • serve with ginger chutney
